ヴァンパイアロック

MALICE MIZERがずっと扱ってきたヴァンパイアをテーマとした世界観ですが、本作はギターを前面に出したロックテイストとなっています。一方で、チェンバロも存在感があり、それでいてクラシックテイストにはならない、独特の雰囲気を作っています。前奏曲の旋律はなかなか洗練されていて、私は好きです。

PVも含め最も完成度の高い第III期作品

MALICE MIZERは、Gardeniaを除き、第III期の各シングルに併せてPVをリリースしていますが、完成度は本作が最も高いと思います。Klahaのお披露目ライブだった「薔薇に彩られた悪意と悲劇の幕開け」の後、本作を発表した時期が、第III期の最も軌道に乗った時期だったかもしれません。
